In it’s strategic program ‘Building the present, creating the future’ (2016-2020), BAM fully embraces digital ways of working, using technological innovations such as BIM, robotics, 3D printing, virtual and augmented reality and modular/offsite construction, to enable to build digitally before building on site.

The BAM Digital Construction team has the assignment to significantly increase the adoption rate of digital construction amongst the BAM Operating Companies over the next years. JigsEye supported the Director Digital Construction, by building a Strategic Portfolio Framework ® to:

  • Determine how Digital Construction actively contributes to the changing needs in the market and the BAM strategy, in the shorter and longer term;
  • Determine on what aspects and how they can help the Operating Companies to outperform in the market;
  • Show to every member of the Digital Community within BAM how he or she is contributing to the overall BAM Strategy
  • Choose which focus to apply in their projects to deliver a high impact contribution to the performance of BAM;
  • Decide which projects to accelerate and/or put ‘on hold’ based on the focus chosen;
  • Decide how to report on the impact of BAM Digital Construction in a sound and simple manner.
